# Signal Week — Fictional Customer Context

Last reviewed: 2026-07-28
Status: fictional training example

## Intended customer

The fictional target is an owner or operations lead at a four-to-twelve-person
branding, web, design, content, or paid-media agency managing several active
client accounts. Requests arrive through meetings, email, and chat, while the
team relies on a spreadsheet or lightweight task tool.

## Problem

The owner spends time reconstructing what changed, which requests matter this
week, and who should respond. The practical consequence is rework, missed
commitments, or an owner becoming the manual routing layer.

## Current alternatives

- Weekly owner-led triage in a spreadsheet
- Project-manager cleanup before a team meeting
- Copying selected requests into an existing task tool
- Asking account leads to maintain separate lists

## Evidence status

The five fictional interviews show the problem is uneven: four participants
described recurring weekly triage, while `SV-INT-003` reported a lighter
problem. This is directional fictional evidence only. Willingness to pay and
safe access to request summaries remain unproven.
